Take the stress out of budgeting
We offer a ‘no surprises' approach to fees so you know exactly what you are paying for. Village fees consist of an application fee, registration fee, data connection fee, a security deposit (refundable on departure) and a weekly residential fee that includes all utilities (water, electricity, gas and 50GB per month). Parking is available as optional extras.
At Sydney University Village, there are no unexpected bills during the year so you can concentrate on making the most of student life!

Prospective domestic first year students who have applied to the Universities Admissions Centre (UAC) as a Year 12 applicant for an offer to study at the University of Sydney (UoS) in the 2016 year (UoS Offer) may be eligible for the First Year Exemption (Eligible Resident). If you are an Eligible Resident you can apply and if accepted by Village management, you can enter into a Residential Agreement at Sydney University Village before receiving and accepting a UoS Offer with the knowledge that you may terminate your Residential Agreement with limited liability under the First Year Exemption.*
*First Year Exemption explained
Prospective domestic first year students applying to study in New South Wales do not usually receive notification from UAC until late in January of the intended year of study. If you are an Eligible Resident and enter into a Residential Agreement at Sydney University Village for the 2016 year commencing 1 January 2016 and you:
1. are notified by UAC that you have not received a UoS Offer; or
2. you receive a UoS Offer but you elect not to accept the UoS Offer,
you must notify Village management of this in writing (Resident Notification) within 7 days from the UAC Main Round offers release date (generally around late January, refer to the UAC website for actual dates).
If you are residing in the Village, you must vacate your residence within 48 hours of providing the Resident Notification to Village management.
If you comply with all of the above terms, your liability under the Residential Agreement will be limited to the Residential Fees and other charges payable under the Residential Agreement from 1 January 2016 to the date Village management receives the Resident Notification from you (First Year Exemption).
The First Year Exemption will not apply where you have accepted a UoS Offer but you elect to defer or withdraw from your studies.
If you do not comply with the abovementioned terms, the First Year Exemption will not apply and you will be liable for all Residential Fees and other charges payable under the Residential Agreement.
