Residential Agreements at the Village are for 52 weeks and it is anticipated that it is every resident's intention to honour that agreement. Unforeseen events do occur that may result in residents wishing to vacate their rooms. Village Administration will help residents find a person to take over their agreement, but until that is done the resident must continue paying weekly fees.
Generally, if you vacate the Room before the Termination Date, or this Agreement is terminated by the Owner before that date in accordance with this Agreement, you will still be responsible for the payment of Residential Fees up to and including the Termination Date. The Owner in addition may charge you an administration fee of an amount reasonably determined by the Owner for costs incurred by the Owner as a consequence of your early vacation of the Room. For further details, refer to clauses 5.4, 5.5 and 5.6 of your Residential Agreement and clause 1.3 of Appendix 1 (Money Matters).
