Jo comes from a freezing place - Poland, in a little town called Glogow. As a teenager, she moved to the United Kingdom, where she studied Business and Marketing. After experiencing a few years of rain, Jo decided that it would be nice to live in a nicer climate, so she chose Australia!
“The atmosphere in the Village is great. Everyone is like a friend to each other, support and help each other, even though our Village is a mixture of cultures, beliefs and characters. For lots of residents it’s the first time living away from home, so it’s nice when they just come to reception for a chat or even with a problem - I am always happy to help and listen", says Jo.
Together with the Village’s friendly casual receptionists, Jo is your first point of contact whilst at the Village. You may go see Jo at Reception to place money on your account, check account balances, borrow a vacuum cleaner, hire a television or to make any general enquiry. Reception is also the location where large parcels are held for you.
